Thermal Protocol

Effective cooling is a systems-wide challenge. Don't just throw BTU at the problem—engineer the barrier.

01 // Underestimating Power Draw

AC is the single largest consumer in any van. Running a traditional 230V AC through an inverter is extremely inefficient compared to modern 12V/24V native DC units.

02 // Neglecting Insulation

An AC system is only as good as the thermal barrier it's cooling. If you haven't used high-quality closed-cell foam and vapor barriers, your AC will work twice as hard for 50% the result.

03 // Poor Condensation Management

Rooftop units generate significant moisture. If the drain lines are not correctly routed and sealed with automotive sealants, you'll face internal mould and electrical shorts.
